PPG to Headline Sponsor British Bodyshop Awards 2022

PPG is delighted to announce that it will partner with the prestigious ABP Club British Bodyshop Awards (BBA) as Headline Partner for the eleventh consecutive year. Last year’s event saw the automotive repair industry reunite for the first time since the pandemic began. The 2021 awards proved to be an evening of well-deserved celebration and reconnection and this year’s ceremony promises to be much of the same, taking place on Thursday 19th May at the new Manchester Central venue.

As 2022 begins, PPG welcomes it’s new Automotive Refinish UK & Ireland Director, Richard Goode. Richard had this to say when asked about this year’s BBA’s;

 “The British Bodyshop Awards is a unique event, bringing together vehicle manufacturers, training providers, insurers and work providers to pay tribute to the best performers in their respective bodyshop networks. The spotlight is firmly on the repairers who are at the cutting edge of our industry. The largest event in the automotive refinish calendar will be a perfect way to begin my new journey as Automotive Refinish Director UK & Ireland. Good luck to all that are nominated, I look forward to meeting everyone on the night!”

This year will see 18 companies present a total of 41 awards with the 2022 finalists being announced on Wednesday 20th April.
