Dan Cammish wins Porsche Carrera Cup Title at Brands Hatch

Dan Cammish becomes the first ever driver to win 12 races in 1 season

Thanks to a successful weekend of racing at Silverstone, Dan Cammish was heading to Brands Hatch with the Porsche Carrera Cup GB title and back to back championships already firmly secured. However, he was striving for further success at Brands Hatch, to finish the season with another victory.

Charlie Eastwood and Dan Lloyd were proving to be tough competition for Dan Cammish in Round 15 and an error of judgement from Dan meant he was only able to finish in 8^th position. Yet, consistency proved to be key, as he kept his pace against Dino Zamparelli in Round 16 and secured his first place position. This then secured his 13^th pole position of the year, meaning he had started 81% of his races from P1 this season. Dan’s achievements continued as, after his final victory in round 16, he became the first ever driver to win 12 races in one season.

Dan stated: “12 wins in 16 races this season! 23 wins from 32 races in the last two seasons with 30 podiums. 2 Carrera Cup Championships! It's been a blast!
