Championship leader Dan cammish heads to Oulton park for a repeat of last years success

PPG sponsored Dan Cammish returns to Oulton park for rounds 5 & 6 of the Porsche Carrera Cup Championship.

Dan achieved a victory and a second place at last year’s event, before going on to claim his maiden title in the championship and a perfect podium attendance record. This year the Nationwide Crash Repair/PPG backed driver will be hoping to repeat that feat as he seeks to extend his title lead over his rivals at the 7 turn, 2.26 mile circuit.

“I’m looking forward to it,” said Dan, “it’s been a long break so I can’t wait to get back in the car. It’s close this year with Dino Zamparelli who should be right there but we shall see, it will be the usual crew of Eastwood, Jelley and Sharp challenging but I think we’ve got the measure of them. We shouldn’t be too far off the ultimate pace so we will be in the race for sure.”

“We had a good test at the circuit last week and it was dry so we should hopefully have similar weather this weekend. Oulton Park with the sun out is a great place and it really brings out the crowds. I went well there last year so it should be a good weekend.”

Dan is also happy to welcome new partner Duo to his sponsorship roster. For more information on Duo and Dan’s other partners visit his website using the link below.

Qualifying takes place at 12:05 on Saturday with race one later that afternoon at 17:10. Race two takes place on Sunday at 15:25 and will be broadcast live on ITV4.
