PPG support Motofix's Apprenticeship showcase with technical demonstrations
On Thursday 23rd February 2017 PPG will be supporting Motofix's Apprenticeship evening showcase. The night will consist of two showcases, 17:00 – 18.30 and 18.30 – 20.00, with the aim of providing 13 + year olds with the opportunity to learn more about the Refinish industry.
At the showcase vehicle repairers from across the UK will demonstrate what is involved in the repair process. PPG will ensure that young people get the opportunity, with support from some of the industry’s most skilled technicians, to learn how to properly use a spray gun and how to dismantle and reassemble modern vehicles. PPG want to provide every attendee with the opportunity to learn more about the refinish industry through the latest advanced PPG technology. AutoRaise aim to encourage more young people to join the Industry and the showcase will provide a wide range of activities to showcase different areas of the business.
Bob Hocken, PPG UK & Ireland Major Accounts Manager, commented:
“PPG will be attending the Motofix Yeovil’s Apprentice showcase evening and we are delighted to be supporting this initiative. Throughout the evening we will provide interactive technical demonstrations to provide young people with the opportunity of experiencing what it is like to work within the refinish sector”.
Alongside technical support, there will be the opportunity to discuss other areas of the business too, such as customer services and management roles. With this level of expertise, MotoFix hopes to inspire attendees and provide them with a better understanding of the refinish sector.
