PPG Refinish UK, the leading paint and coatings company, today announced the appointment of Jeremy Seaman to PPG Refinish UK & Ireland Technical Manager, effective from 5th January 2015.
Jeremy or Jem as he is commonly known to people started his career at a large Ford main dealership as an apprentice paint sprayer developing his career to become a Technical Demonstrator with ICI Paints in the 1980’s.
During the late 80’s, through the 90’s and early 2000’s Jem’s career with ICI and later PPG Industries progressed seeing him take on many roles such as Area Sales Manager CT, Area sales Manager Car, Key Account Manager and finally National Accounts Manager.
Jem assumes this key business leadership role at PPG having most recently worked at BASF as their Commercial Vehicle Coatings Manager, a position which required strategic planning, identifying distribution channels and building a technical and commercial team.
In his new role of Technical Manager Jem will lead the PPG technical team and work closely with PPG’s sales team to deliver an unrivalled technical support proposition to grow and enhance quality relationships with PPG’s customers.
