PPG Refinish UK announces Mike Walsh as new Marketing Manager

PPG Industries UK, the world leading paint and coatings company, have announced the appointment of Mike Walsh as the new UK & Ireland Marketing Manager effective from 1^st January 2019.

Reporting to PPG’s UK & Ireland Market Director David Heal, Mike brings considerable knowledge and expertise to the role and will be an instrumental player in driving strategic growth for the UK and Ireland Refinish business unit. 

Mike joined PPG in October 2000, starting his career as a Production Planner and moving through different roles in the Supply Chain and manufacturing divisions. In 2007 Mike moved into the UK Refinish Marketing team as Collision Product Manager and quickly assumed product management responsibility for all products. In 2010 he moved back into the Supply Chain division and then progressed onto the role of Plant Manager in Stowmarket. Mike will commence as the new Marketing Manager on 1^st January 2019.
