PPG and AW Repair Group renews long term partnership

PPG is pleased to announce the continued partnership with one of the leading accident repair groups in the UK, AW Repair Group with a new five year agreement.

Building on a strong relationship spanning over a decade, the renewed partnership will see PPG continue to be the preferred paint partner at all AW sites across the UK with PPG’s Envirobase High Performance. In addition to this, AW Repair Group will continue to benefit from PPG’s Colour IT solutions and technical support to ensure high quality results each and every time. To support business objectives and assist with process improvements, PPG will also continue to work closely with the AW team offering bespoke training for lead paint technicians at the PPG Training Centre in Stowmarket.

AW Repair Group was recently listed in the London Stock Exchange 2018 Directory of 1,000 companies to Inspire Britain and its Nottingham site was shortlisted in the final three of Bodyshop Magazine’s Medium Bodyshop of the Year. Last month also marked the opening of a second AW Fast Finish Centre and a dedicated LV= accident repair centre in Derby.

David Heal, Market Director at PPG Refinish UK & Ireland commented; “We have enjoyed a longstanding partnership with AW Repair Group and it’s great to continue a build on this strong and collaborative relationship. It has been great to watch AW Repair Group grow and flourish into the successful and innovative business that it is today. AW Repair Group’s Managing Director, Andrew Walsh said; “Continuing our strong relationship with PPG ensures continuity within our business, bringing unrivaled technical and training support when needed. PPG’s global market leading position in the coatings industry along with the partnership we hold, sets us in pole position for our continued growth plans.”
