PPG Refinish UK announce a renewed joint sponsorship of Daniel Cammish in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB 2017

PPG renew joint sponsorship of Daniel Cammish

Daniel Cammish returns to the Porsche Carrera Cup championship with the support of PPG and Nationwide Accident Repair Services (NARS), following his back to back championship wins in 2015 and 2016. Daniel has dominated the PCCGB championship for the past two years taking an impressive 23 wins from 32 starts and a podium strike rate of 93.8%. In returning for 2017, Dan is hoping to win a record and historic third Porsche Carrera Cup championship.

The continued sponsorship will see PPG and NARS logos on the Porsche along with dramatic new livery for the season. Continued for this season will also be the addition of the BROWN BROTHERS® Distribution logo to the car; the national paint and dry goods distribution solution owned by PPG.

Danielle Aiken, PPG Refinish UK & Ireland Marketing Manager comments “We are delighted to be supporting Dan again in the PCCGB as part of the winning team with Nationwide. This will be the third year of our joint sponsorship, and we are pleased to have been a part of Dan’s winning tradition; and long may this continue. Dan has been outstanding and we are confident that this will be another champion year for Dan”.

The Porsche Carrera Cup 2017 competition begins with round one being held at the notorious Brands Hatch racing track, from 31st March to 2nd April 2017. After the anticipated racing return, there will be seven further racing weekend dates in 2017.

“It's great to be back in the Carrera Cup with Nationwide and PPG” stated Dan, discussing the continued sponsorship, “Our relationship is now heading into a 3rd season and I have thoroughly enjoyed becoming part of this winning team. To have such support from two fantastic sponsors gives me a great amount of confidence and I hope we can once again be successful in 2017. I would like to thank all at Nationwide and PPG for their continued support and I look forward to another great season of Porsche racing".
