PPG & Nationwide sponsored Dan Cammish gets 2016 off to a winning start

2015 Porsche Carrera Cup champion Daniel Cammish has declared himself ready to defend his title after winning round two at Brands hatch.

Following the thrills from last season, the brands hatch Indy circuit offered an exhilarating race from start to finish. Starting both races from pole position, Dan Cammish finished second in race one and first in race two after receiving a track limit infringement in round one deigning  him a repeat of his double victory in 2015. Dan felt the penalty was harsh but channeled the energy to a commanding performance in the second race, taking a clear victory by over six seconds.

Despite the penalty Dan still secured a second place finish to open his 2016 account. He was noticeably fired up for race two as he sought to rectify the situation. As the lights went out for the standing start to race two Dan was immediately on it and never looked back. He crossed the line 33 laps later to take his first victory of the year.

Dan now jointly leads the championship and heads to Silverstone next for rounds three and four on the 16th & 17th April.
