PPG continue Williams’s sponsorship for 2016

The first race hosted in Melbourne went well for Felipe Massa finishing 5th after a successful pre-testing with the car. With Valtteri Bottas finishing 8th, he hoped Bahrain could offer a better chance to challenge for the podium.

The second round in Bahrian was a challenging one for the Williams team. Bottas was sadly penalized in the first lap colliding with Hamilton. Having to take a pit stop penalty, the Finn channeled his energy to afterwards recover and finish in the points. Massa meanwhile to the risk of a two stop strategy leaving him vulnerable towards the end of the race but kept pushing until the to finish 8th.

We hope Williams can push into the rest of the season with the PPG painted car essential to achieving the low weight requirements that determine a competitive lap time and car performance.
