Two MG6 GT Cars will run in the all-new MG KX Momentum Racing team with double BTCC champion Jason Plato and rising star Andy Neate behind the wheels. MG has said it will be aiming for wins immediately on its return to the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship in 2012

The new MG6 GT's striking new livery are painted in leading edge PPG paint products which created a storm of media activity following the cars launch at Silverstone which heralds the return of the famous MG marque to the BTCC for the first time in nine years.

Ian Harrison, Managing Director Triple Eight Race Engineering Ltd comments "I'm very pleased to welcome PPG as a Technical Paint Partner and proud that we will be carrying their logo on the MG KX Momentum Racing MG6's this season in the British Touring Car Championship."

"The colour scheme on the cars is striking and having unveiled the car for the world to see earlier this week it is already grabbing lots of attention and favourable comment as we hoped that it would. It was vital therefore that the quality and consistency of the paint finish was second to none."

"Consulting PPG and using their product has ensured that the depth of colour and finish has exceeded my expectations and it has more than met Triple Eight's own exacting standards."

Danni Aiken, PPG UK & Ireland Marketing Communications Manager adds "We are extremely delighted to be the Technical Partner to the MG KX Momentum Racing car and we are extremely pleased with the superb finish of the car that has been achieved through the use of the latest PPG technologies.
